Went surfing for local art news tonight. Here's what I found ....

▪ PinkGhost has posted pics on its blog from the Julie West opening this past weekend ... and prints and originals from the show are still available.

▪ Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach is hosting Dia De Los Muertos, a nght of studio tours, socialization and artist Bethany Krull's demonstration of Cartoneria, the Mexican art of paper sculpture. This event, which runs 6-9 p.m. Thursday Oct. 29 is the first in a series of Armory After Hours presentations that will feature art, music, film, lectures, activities and drinks. The food is sponsored by Rocco's Tacos and Tequila Bar and wine is provided by Whole Foods. Moska Project will perform at 7 p.m. Cover is $5.
