This spicy ginger lemonade is a real kick in the pants from the posh, new Andú Restaurant & Lounge in Miami. It certainly ain’t the same old lemonade mom used to make; this one not only sports some alcohol, but it also packs power in the form of ginger and mint. The question is, are you ready for a sipper that cools down and heats up at the same time?

Recipe:

2 ½ ounces lemon vodka (Ketel One recommended)
1 ounce simple syrup
1 ½ ounces fresh squeezed lemonade
1 teaspoon fresh ground ginger
6 fresh mint leaves
ice

Muddle ginger, lemonade and mint together. Combine with simple syrup, vodka and ice in shaker. Shake, strain and pour into a sugar-rimmed glass with a lime wedge and lemon rind curl.
