Have you heard that açaí is one of the most nutritious and powerful foods in the world? According to staffers in Oprah Winfrey’s camp, go-to dermatologist Dr. Nicholas Perricone says the pulp of this purple-red berry contains, “a remarkable concentration of antioxidants that help combat premature aging, with 10 times more antioxidants than red grapes and 10 to 30 times the anthocyanins of red wine.”

What does this all mean? Drink this concoction featuring açaí puree if you’d like to keep looking young and dancing the samba all night long.

Recipe:

1 ounce raspberry rum (Bacardi Razz recommended)
1/2 ounce watermelon rum (Bacardi Grand Melón recommended)
1 ounce
açaí puree
1/2 ounce passion fruit puree
1/2 ounce crème de bananes
1 ounce guava juice

Combine all the ingredients, then shake. Pour the cocktail into a wine glass and garnish with a slice of carambola (a.k.a. star fruit). Makes one serving.
