As of a few weeks ago, two new parties—including Crush, the self–proclaimed epicenter of Broward indie dance parties, and a Saturday event with DJs from the equally popular Miami party Revolver—have helped to make the scene as fresh as the seafood coming out of the kitchen. Stalks of bamboo shroud the seductive, crimson–hued sushi spot, where plates of squid, conch and bluefin toro are devoured in time for the late-night party that lasts until 4 a.m. Thursday through Sunday.
The new nights mesh well with the mod, urban interior of brick walls, red lighting and bulbous, white paper lanterns dangling throughout the lounge, dining area and bar. Speaking of the bar, try some of the delectable mojitos, numerous hot and cold sakes and plenty of wines. Each party night presents its own drink specials and admission deals.
