My only experience at The Field has been St. Paddy's Day the last two years. The music was good inside, when they played (breaks seemed longer than the playing time). The inside bar crew both years had REAL lousy attitudes when you could finally get them to serve you....rude rules here...smiles non-existent. The bar girls outside were great. Beer was good, but overpriced. Seems they're too interested in making the bucks than providing a good St. Paddy's Day experience.

My wife and I love the field.
Great Music, food is outstanding (get the steak, and potato soup) Yum, Yum.
If you're looking for a fun night out with friends try the field.
It's busy, but never a problem getting a reservation.

But I've known those people for many years and they are not friendly except to a few
of their friends that always have all of the tables reserved for them. I go along way back with Alan Craig and MaGuires, now that was a FUN pub. Glad that The Field FINALLY got rid of the nasty English singer...her Unicorn song and other kiddie songs got old. If you are lucky you'll get a chance to listen to Donnie Hicks on the fiddle.

My husband and I visit the Field every other week. Food is fabulous, service is excellent and prices are very reasonable. Will be back next week. Can't wait.

My family loves The Field. We had our daughter's birthday party there. Great value and great fun. The reviews that say it's scary and don't bring your kids...I don't understand. Maybe don't bring your kids to the bar at midnight?

Keep in mind that this is a public house ... and an excellent one for Florida! If you enjoy good beer / whiskey and Irish-style food, than you will not be disappointed. A great place to socialize with friends and make new ones over beers. The food is authentic and the service has always been top notch for us. It's down-home, so if you don't like down-home...don't bother.

We waited FOREVER for service only to be met by the most bland food around. The sandwiches are really tasteless. Don't even consider the chicken. Small portions, no taste. We won't go out of our way to visit again. Cheers!

Anyone who doesn't like the field, probably doesn't belong there. This place is a down home Irish restaurant where if you like wearing flip flops and drinking good beer, wine or martini's, this is the place for you. Don't miss out on the Lamb Shanks if they have them on the specials. Great fun, great food, great beer and not for the uptight.:) Lot's of Love to the people at the field.

Good point is that it is pet friendly but thats it. Service is terrible. Food is lower than OK. We had to ask for a waitress 3 times before one came.
