Fort Lauderdale latest hits the ground running

While Fort Lauderdale's beachfront is getting a modern makeover that would have been difficult to imagine 10 years ago, let alone during the city's heyday as the capital of Spring Break, many area nightclubs thematically celebrate bygone Americana, of which the 954 is a landmark. From the folks behind Miami's Crobar, Exit 66—a 20,000–square–foot beachfront nightclub—does not disappoint, and its nostalgic imagery is bolstered by its location just half a block from the iconic Elbo Room.
