A red, white and gold-medal affair

Arriving via yacht to his very own Red, White and Gold Medal Party, Miami’s own Dwyane Wade was honored for his Olympic all-star efforts Saturday, Aug. 30 at Nikki Marina. The Majestic Saturdays standout soiree raked in a few hundred guests for an evening that kept on past 4 a.m. With rhythmic dancers and entertainers on stilts, the added help wasn’t the only eye candy; patrons were asked to sport red, white and gold ensembles to celebrate Wade’s shining victory. Miami’s MVP was joined by a never-ending entourage and Miami Heat teammates Udonis Haslem and Dorell Wright. Wade greeted fans and shouted out high above the crowd from the towering DJ booth, which cranked out a playlist filled with classic and old-school hip-hop jams to an overflowing dance floor.
