You can find bars bubbling with booze and intoxicated partygoers almost every weekend. (Not like that's a bad thing...) But sometimes, we all search for something a little different. Whether that's chillin’ with a live band while letting the sea breeze tousle the hair or parking bar-side with your pooch in tow. Yep, that's right, this weekend Metromix picks include the lighter side of life.

For live music head out to Alma Lounge. The Raleigh Hotel's party has dedicated the night to encouraging Latinos to vote. Head farther south on Friday to party with your pal and your pooch at Martini Bar's Pawtini party. You have to be 21-years-old to attend. For those looking for the NFL parties, 88's Dueling Piano Bar up in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is the spot, since they kick off their sports Sunday this week.  And there’s more. Read on and drink on.
