Mixology
Mixology is a group blog that will feature contributions by our staff. The working title for this blog, in fact, was This Is a Group Blog. (Well, you try to be clever and engaging 24-7. It’s not as easy as it looks.) The blog will offer concert previews and reviews, mini interviews with South Florida musicians, breaking entertainment news, updates on nightclub openings and closings, restaurant recommendations and the occasional rant. What you won’t find here: Pictures of our pets (though they are pretty damn cute), embarrassing, career-ending confessionals about our personal lives (though we’d love to hear about yours) and an overdependence on obnoxious, parenthetical asides (such as this one).

Each of the works is named for the song from that album that inspired the work. So the exhibiton will include co...

WeMerge: Issue 5
It's reached the point where before going out for a meal, one must call the restaurant to assure it's still there, and before asking an old friend how work's been treating them, one might want to confirm that they still have a job. All that was once stable now seems fleeting. All the more reasons for a local mag to celebrate every issue that's p...
