A stormy weekend in Miami met its end Sunday, Oct. 5 at Bayfront Park as the clouds scooted for the “Last Chance for Change” rally. Part one of the two-day Barack Obama-sponsored campaign, voters and volunteers who showed up in support of the presidential candidate were treated to a complimentary token of appreciation for registration: a supreme show by musical wonders Wyclef Jean and Jay-Z. The event worked to drive unregistered voters to get their forms finished before the final cutoff on Monday, Oct. 6. Also in attendance were Beyonce, Pitbull and Fat Joe, among other VIPs, who joined fans and supporters during an inspiring and unforgettable night reminding everyone in sight of their crucial decision to vote on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008.
