Jackass of the week

The kids over at Goulds Elementary School in Miami have another fun-filled school year ahead of them, and all the grown-ups are preparing for the fall, when those kids will come roaring through the school doors. The place needs to be cleaned, new materials need to be ordered, teachers need to prepare lesson plans, school boards need to fire teachers and the school-crossing signs on the nearby streets need a fresh coat of paint. All was proceeding according to plan — heck, Miami-Dade County even managed to avoid the widespread shit-cannings that took place in Broward last week — until that last part about the paint. Clearly, the Miami-Dade school system had not been effective in educating the Miami-Dade Public Works sign painter who carefully stenciled scohol on the asphalt. The public works department said the street would be repainted. No word on whether the painter will have to repeat first grade.
