The Spy Who Loved Me" (1977)
BARBARA BACH as Major Anya Amasova
Sure, Bach's KGB spy is reduced to another notch on James Bond's bedpost in the film's final scene. And her code name of Triple-X is an obvious Bond-girl-moniker double entendre. But this early girl power proponent engages in an evenly matched first-act rivalry with 007, and then goes on to fight evil alongside him. That's no mean feat when the bad guys include Richard Kiel's gargantuan, dentally enhanced henchman Jaws.
