Lack of realism is the true murderer

Poor acting with a sub-par plot line tied up with a wonderful bow of blissful ignorance made this movie fall from what it could have been.
An obsessed teacher walking around more like a crazy slasher villain somehow is able to finish off his prey with only three stabs to the gut? Let alone come out of those encounters without leaving a trace of crimson residue on himself or the places the act took place in. Another note in the lack of realism with the attacks goes to the lack of substance on neck wounds.

Next lets take a look at the hotel. Six plus (don't remember the highest floor on the elevator panel) floors with the lack of customers moving out from the fire alarm. Couple that with the all of what. eight to ten staff that walked out of the building for an establishment that size. There would have been people directing customers out of the building not allowing them to go back to their suit to get an article of clothing. Also on the same note she took an elevator during a fire alarm. Elevators would have been shut down after being cleared so people wouldn't be able to become trapped in them if a fire was to take out the electricity to them.

There were far to many points in this movie that would have never happened in a real situation and what makes a horror movie scary is real situations. Not a fairy tail land where actions show no reaction in logical fashion that lets a killer walk around unmarked of his crimes. Leaving no trail behind that in a number of times the kids should have seen while in their room.

The movie could work but it needs to start over. More character development in the case of her friends. More on the proposal and dreams would have made the one loss more felt for the crowd instead of OK he just lost his love that he was going to propose to. Don't know anything else about them. Show more of how the teacher obsessed over her and put that in the beginning. There would be the chance for character development. The movie wouldn't feel so rushed. Redo the the lack of physics with the attacks and make everything more realistic and the movie could have been much more entertaining to view.
