New Kids on the Block with Lady Gaga and Natasha Bedingfield Nov. 1 at BankAtlantic Center
The majority of men's rooms at the BankAtlantic Center were transformed into women's bathrooms on this night, prompting the 12 guys who attended the show to complain. Thousands of women in their late 20s and early 30s shrieked louder than they did in 1989, while Joey, Jordan, Donnie, Danny and Jonathan smoked up the stage with their grown-man moves. Clutching New Kids on the Block dolls and sporting original NKOTB T-shirts and oversize buttons, the women of South Florida came full circle with the crushes of their youth. NKOTB belted oldies such as "Hangin' Tough" and "Please Don't Go Girl" and current hits such as "Summertime" and "Single," making it clear with every pelvic thrust that they've still got the right stuff even though they're pushing 40.
