Booths are comfortable and the old diner counter now makes a fine sushi bar, where the two most popular Asian cuisines peacefully co-exist. Even the American dishes are served with an Oriental twist, like the BLT with a grilled salmon filet. There's a special vibrancy to the Thai dishes such as the jumping squid, using chopped celery leaves to give it a nice edge. The Thai basil sauce includes a handful of deep-fried basil leaves sprinkled in, and the treatments using ginger, onions, mushroom and pineapple are equally good. The restaurant’s Japanese side emphasizes an extensive list of sushi rolls with a few cooked dishes.
