THE DISH
One of my favorite spots, this restaurant serves three squares with plenty of good reasons to indulge in any one of them. At the top of my list is the house churrasco ($13.95). The skirt steak is one of the best I've tasted, from the expert cooking that keeps the quality cut tender and glistening with juices, to the subtle yet perfect seasoning that gives the meat such flavor.
The skirt steak takes up half the container and comes with two sides. Be sure to make one of them tossed salad. Sounds ordinary but the slightly sweet vinaigrette is terrific. Other sides include french fries, rice, beans or plantains.
There's no extra charge for the house-made chimichurri sauce, so be sure to ask for some if it's not included in your order. It adds a hint of garlic mixed with herbs and makes a wonderful steak even better.
