The first Ale House opened in Jupiter in 1988 and there are now about 40 throughout Florida operating under the motto, "a 'reel' great place to catch a good time." The formula in the Davie locale features a full-liquor bar flanked by dining areas where patrons chow on an all-encompassing menu that includes filet mignon, crab legs, Thai chicken, pasta Orleans and the house dessert, Captain Jack's ice cream cake. Every seat in the house offers a view of a television, where a myriad of sports games are in play.
