Our regular place in downtown Hollywood was closed late on a Sunday night. Lola's was open and looked inviting, so we decided to give it a try. We are glad we did. We plan to make Lola's a regular stop in the future. The ambiance is pleasant, the staff were friendly and attentive (but not too much so), and the food was very good. We had the purple potato skins and oyster shooter as an appetizer. Both were delicious. The Coca Cola ribs were a treat. This house specialty will appeal to all ribs fans who like a sweet sauce. The polenta and the roasted aparagus, the other things we tried, were also very good. The 'beer flight' was a nice touch.

We hope that Lola's is around for a long time. We would like to go back often.

Lola's guarantees a BAD experience

Overall rating:

Good food + horrible managment = frustrating experience. The items listed on the menu are often incorrect so I'll often decide on something only to find out they're out of it. They have a large selection of beer and wine but they run out of things so often I can never get the same thing twice. The staff is constantly changing and therefore confused. This restaurant needs to get it together...

BEST HOLLYWOOD RESTAURANT!! It's no secret Hollywood is wanting for tasty dining, but we recently went to Lola's and it was AMAZING! EVERYTHING we ordered was perfect and exceeded expectations. Lychee-tini w/ sake was so good, it made me do my happy dance! Great atmosphere, sheek decor, classy clientele, and had a great waiter who kept us laughing. SO glad we finally found a REALLY GREAT Hollywood restaurant downtown. Priced well 4 great food. Just learned they have live music every week.

Incredible food!

We tried this restaurant for the first time recently. The food is incredible! We ordered the nachos -- excellent! A great light and flavorful appetizer. I had the blue cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Again, excellent! The service was attentive but not obtrusive. I encourage everyone to try this restaurant.
