Longhorn Steakhouse
- 6225 N. Andrews Ave.
- Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309
- 954-267-0702
- Price range: $$ ($9-$15)
It's hard to keep track of all these similar-sounding chain steakhouses--Lonestar, Roadhouse, Outback, Longhorn, etc.--but Longhorn prides itself on its commitment to high quality and service. Their dishes include appetizers like the Texas tonion (not a bloomin' onion), BBQ entrees like rocky top chicken, various steak cuts (filet, rib eye, prime rib, strip, etc.) and a few average sounding salmon and shrimp dishes masquerading as a fresh catch section. And don’t forget to save room for desserts like the chocolate stampede or the awful-sounding golden nugget fried cheesecake.
