Main plates include yemista (peppers and tomatoes stuffed with rice, onions and herbs); braised lamb shank with orzo; chicken breast or pork tenderloin souvlaki; lemon chicken; solomos (grilled salmon); and pastichio, a classic layering of pasta, ground beef and bechamel sauce. Try the desserts including galaktobouriko (semolina custard in flaky phyllo pastry doused in simple syrup) and ekmek (Greece's answer to tiramisu).
