This place has the best pizza that I have had in a long time. We have been to the Fort Lauderdale location and the Pompano location and neither one of them have failed us yet. We generally order takeout and have only eaten there once, but I must tell you that the pizza is even better in the restaurant and we will definitely be dining in more often. For me one of the test for wether I consider food good is when it taste so good that you will even eat it when it's cold, and that is definitely how I feel about Anthony's pizza. I agree with one of the other reviewers that stated if you love Pizza Hut or Papa John's, then you won't love Anthony's. This place is for people who enjoy quality ingredients in their pizza. We have only ordered the wings once, I thought they could use a little more salt, but other than that they were really good and I love the foccacia bread that come them. It is a little pricey as far as pizza goes, but don't you normally pay for quality?

The staff of this Weston pizzeria were very courteous from entry to exit. Food was much better by far than the other fort lauderdale location. The manager, John, walks around the restaurant just like Anthony does at Runway 84. Excellent value, excellent time was had by all. Only recommendation is to have a pasta dish on the menu.

Excellent pizza; we ordered mushroom onion and sweet peppers. The edges were slightly charred but still tender to the bite. My husband NEVER eats the crust ends but he did these. Slightly more expensive but worth the treat! Lots of takeout business while we were there; only waited about 10 min for table. Will go again.

We went after hearing rave reviews and we couldn't have been more disappointed. The pizza had NO flavor and was nothing special. The chicken wings were adequate, not fried, but were full of pieces of charburn. No fountain soda was a rip off, since you had to buy it by the bottle for $2.50. Lastly, it had to be one of the most NOISY places I have ever eaten. Too many people sitting too close together. It was really an unpleasant dining experience.

$2.50 for a 20oz bottle of soda. $4.50 for a bottle of Corona. 2 Single topping pizzas for $18.50 each. Understand the "burnt" part, but still not very good.

Pass on this one. MUCH better places for pizza.

This pizza is not for everyone. Those of you who think pappa johns and pizza hut are real pizza will not enjoy this. This is more like authentic New Jersey style pizza. The more burnt the better it tastes. Love it -

All of the Anthony's are...
By R from Plantation, Fl, May 11, 2007

All of the Anthony's are fantastic with the GLARING exception of the new Plantation store. After several trips there already--the pizza is NOT up to the standards of the Weston or Ft. Laud. store. As previous reviews said--if they can't get there act together-then it's worth the extra drive and wait at the other locations.
Additionally the wings are over salted and difficult to eat. Wait staff seems confused, and not client friendly-with the exception of the bartender and Matt, the manager.
