Culinary cures for a Cinco de Mayo hangover

Ever wake up with a sombrero on your head and a Dos Equis in your hand with a headache the size of Guadalajara? Then you’ve experienced the joys of Cinco de Mayo. In Mexico, this experience, called a hangover, is so commonplace (even when it’s not May 5th) that they have created a hospital to cure it. Called Hospital Para Crudos or Hospital for the Raw ones aka “Hangover Hospital,” this restaurant, located in Creel, Mexico, serves up culinary traditions meant to cure what ails you, including those awful stomach pains, nausea and dolor de cabeza (headache).
Now the ingredients in these hangover helpers seem like something out of "Fear Factor," including cow hoof, goat stomach and a bunch of other tripe. While finding menudo (not the band) and other items of the tripe family aren’t so easy in South Florida, other “cures” found at Mexican restaurants around the Tri-County area aren’t so hard.
