South Florida restaurants get creative for the holiday season

You don’t have to wait until Santa climbs down the chimney to indulge. This season, restaurants are adding a holiday twist to some rather traditional and local bites.
“The holidays should be a local food celebration,” said Chef Allen Susser of Chef Allen’s in Aventura. “I think we should all be able to share in the fun, keeping with seasonal flavors.”
Metromix located nine holiday menu items like apple cider-roasted mahi mahi, goose fat potatoes and sweet-potato cheesecake for your seasonal palate to explore.
