Being able to grab a real muffin or bagel at a drive-through is a great concept. No, it's not healthier than fast food, but it's real food, and that in itself is a big plus. Furthermore, if you come back after 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, you can catch some live jazz or other local musicians, such as Hurricane Dave, a country/folk singer who's been calling this place home for quite a while.
