In life, some things don’t always add up the way they should. Take “The Beatles: Rock Band.” You’d expect it to be just a version of the popular music game with the Fab Four’s music. And for the most part, that’s exactly what it is...
 
But in reworking their game for Liverpool’s favorite sons, the developers at Harmonix have added some new wrinkles to the music game genre—ones that wouldn’t work for a band like, oh, Metallica or Van Halen.
