Cinema Paradiso -
503 SE Sixth St. - Fort Lauderdale
Report this commentCinema Paradiso is such a beautiful place. It is an Art-House movie theater that was originally built as the First Methodist Church of Fort Lauderdale, then re-built into the inspiring Vinnette Carroll Theater, and now owned by In 1997 the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. I love this place because of it's rich history (over 100 yrs. in Fort Lauderdale) of being the sacred space of a church, music, art, and cinema! My favorite things! Because I too am a filmmaker, I loved the film "Cinema Paradiso" which the theater is named after. I am getting married here on 12/12 noon this year! Cinema Paradiso screens many independent and foreign films with all sorts of themed events. I plan on hanging out there much more, especially because FLIFF is in town! Actor Michael Jai White was hanging out there tonight!

Street squad at PinkGhost
Report this commentI love looking at different tshirts, bags, art, music, toys, accessories, etc... The owners are cool sisters who love art and fun things; they have great taste! I also love the Pink Ghost stickers and have one on my silver mac laptop.

Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens -
4000 Morikami Park Road - Delray Beach
Report this commentNow this is the place to go for a stroll around the lake, see the rock gardens, the bamboo fountains and waterfalls, feed the fish, see art and history, shop at their breathtaking store, see the Ronin Taiko show in side the theater, etc... It is beautiful, vastly meditation, fun, with nurturing mother nature. I want to go buy some fish food and feed the huge goldfish and cute turtles that live in their lake. I would also like to listen in some CDs they sell in their shoppe.

Carrabba's Italian Grill -
1299 S. Federal Highway - Pompano Beach
Report this commentYes it may not be America's fave Italian spot but I know from living in Italy that if you want Italian food then you have to go to Italy. The reason why I like Carrabas is because of the way they give you the bread and oil when you sit down, just like en Italia. I also like their Mezza Luna raviolis with Acqua Panna, my fave bottled water.
